outcomes: pass, retake or manager review

The problem

A room can look clean while still missing essentials: a remote in the right place, kitchen paper or hand soap. I built a photo-review workflow within the PMS so cleaner uploads could be compared with a prepared reference state.

How it works

  1. 01

    Reference

Prepared rooms and designated photo angles

  2. 02

    Upload

    Cleaner photos from corresponding viewpoints

  3. 03

    Compare

    Visual model returns structured findings

  4. 04

    Review

Pass, request a retake or involve a manager

What I built

  • Room and photo-point matching between the reference state and cleaner uploads.
  • Visual checks for restocking, item placement, staging issues and photo quality.
  • Structured inspection findings and explicit retake or manager-review outcomes.
  • A separate calendar workflow that matches cleaners to reservations and sends upcoming assignments through Lark.

Engineering decisions

Compare like with like

Reference images and designated viewpoints give the model a property-specific target, instead of asking it to judge a room against an unspecified standard.

Treat poor evidence as a retake

Photo-quality problems need a better image or manager review. A model confidence value alone does not establish inspection accuracy.

Keep schedules close to reality

The reminder workflow checks calendars every two hours and looks seven days ahead, accommodating frequent changes in short-term bookings.
